Lyudmila Chemso's art is described with professional sincerity and adherence to high traditions of realistic art, which she has attained in the work-room of her father, V.M. Chemso.
Lyudmila works in a rather uncommon genre of pictural art - "easel painting". This genre lets much better show painterly-coloristic gift, ability to see the main variety of reality
The central theme of her creation is representation of the world of her close ones, to which she touches with miraculous delicacy and tenderness, trying not to disturb the harmony of spiritual solidity of her characters.
Hence - soft and warm coloration of canvases, calm and sometimes static compositional decision, that nearly always includes huge outside world.
The artist is laconic and even chary in pictorial elements, but amazingly easy represents idea and mood on a canvas, subordinating colour and compositional structure to unveiling of the intention.
The artist takes a choice of format and size of a canvas seriously, without fear to use wide range of sizes.
The artist proficiently uses free-painting, often resorts to textured paint-layer, rendering depicted figural and spatial world with sensation of vividness and easiness.
Lyudmila Chemso's works are deeply individual and emotional; they differ from other ones in a high level of execution, integrity of thought and structure.
There are her works in museums of Fine Arts in Stavropol, Maykop, and in private collections.
The author works individually with a client in following genres: portrait, landscape, narrative painting, still-life.
